Alright, here's an most interesting birth story among my 3 kids.
Edd supposed to be on the 12th June 2013. But no signs so appt on 14th June, 2am was made to insert PROSTIN for induce.
Last Min Supper of Korean BBQ before i admit. Enjoying before 1 month confinement.
2am - headed to Delivery Suite. Alone went in to triage as rooms was all full, husband not allowed in there.
Before inserting PROSTIN, strap on CTG and I'm already having contractions when i dont even know. 10mins interval, nurse checked not dilated. So insert prostin for faster dilation.
5am - went up to my room and rest.
7am - Doctor checked, 3cm dilated. Suggested to head to delivery suite for breaking of water bag. BUT, last min got on hold as no room for me to deliver. So waited in the room.
9am - Strong contractions started, 2-3min interval. Requested for epidural, but room was still full.
11.30am - water bag suddenly burst, told baby but he dont believe and tot i bluff him! So i pressed the bell myself.
11.55pm - no choice but to send me down to the triage to monitor but still can deliver in the delivery suite.
12pm - too strong contractions for me to bear, and the pass motion feeling so strong. Never happen to me before as both previous was with epidural. Informed the nurse I want to pass motion and she checked and stopped me as i only 4cm dilated. Is baby pressing down but not wanting to pass motion.
12.10pm - I started to push by myself uncontrollably. Demand for pain relief and they immediately prepared a room for me. Unstrap CTG, but nurse face look worried and keep wanting to check baby's heart beat. Couldn't find any and she got panicked w/o me knowing anything. She signaled to another nurse & they both suddenly shouted only 45 and stopped me from pushing. Senior nurse rush in and they all grab hold of my legs closing it tight to prevent me from giving birth as they tot im only 4cm dilated which was measured abt 10 min ago. 5-6 nurse surrounded me. 2 hold onto me, 1 faster go call my gynae, 1 go call my hub and 2 faster go prepare the equipments for my delivery as baby head was nearly out already.
To what i can remember i was crying and shouting like hell cos i have to so call suck the baby back to my tummy until they checked i actually fully dilated. Hub came in too late as baby head already out. Gynae run to me and throw her bag on the floor, but still to late baby come out faster then her.
12.18pm - Joycious was finally out. 7 ppl looking at me, 1 catching my baby, 2 still struggling to open the packet of equipments when baby is already out, the rest started to clean up the floor as all was my blood and water bag water. Dint even have time to use epidural, and even the delivery suite. Waste all my money!!
3pm - was pushed back to ward & everyone was so shocked i gave birth so fast and they all have heard the dramatic birth story of mine. The senario was totally like caught in fire and everyone was shouting for help here and there.
My 1st birth without any equipments, doctor, drip, blood taking. Feels like im delivering at my own hse. Hope I will never go thru this ever again!
